Race Background:
The CAC is a child friendly environment where trained, neutral individuals conduct interviews with the purpose of allowing children to disclose child abuse, if abuse has taken place.
Bradford County Children’s Advocacy Center
The CAC has been conducting recorded interviews in-house since August 2008. Since that time 318 interviews have been completed.
The CAC is a free service to families in need. Law Enforcement as well as Children and Youth Services utilize the center. Prior to the implementation of a local CAC, the children and their caregivers were transported an hour and a half each way to Scranton to receive the service which is now located in our own back yard.
