Stagger for the Dominican Republic by joining us for the Zombie 5K Fun Run/Walk with a timed run option! Besides having the time of your undead life, your participation supports ACES North America's education and healthcare initiatives in the DR! Pre-Registration ends October 16th.
The course is a flat, park course with paved, gravel, and dirt surfaces. Open and wooded areas. Course comes complete with some mud, blood, and zombies at every turn. Join in the fun by throwing on your best zombie running gear. Come with your makeup complete or have Lycoming Theatre Department professionals do it for you for just $5.
All proceeds from this race benefit a local 501(c)(3) charitable organization, ACES North America. Based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, ACES (Advancing Communities by Educating and Serving) undertakes development projects in the Dominican Republic. More specifically, we focus on initiatives focusing on education, healthcare, and economic development for the impoverished. The projects we have completed thus far include a clean water initiative, providing educational facilities and opportunities for children, supporting medical clinics, and assisting with agricultural enterprises. We have brought potable water to a community, built a three-story school, provided educational scholarships for students, supported the operation of two medical clinics, and planted an orchard.
