Sayre Turkey Trot 5k (2013)

 
 

 
The Sayre Turkey Trot 5K and Kids' Fun Run has been a Thanksgiving Day tradition in Sayre, PA since 2007. With 800 registered participant in 2012, the Sayre Turkey Trot has become the largest 5K running event in Bradford County! The Robert Packer Hospital/ Guthrie Auxiliary invites you to come out for this fun event, get into the holiday spirit & help benefit your own fitness level before all of the holiday feasting!

5K Turkey Trot: 10:00am
Awards: approx. 10:45am
Event Registration:Register Online
Event Timing: PaRunners disposable race bibs with start and finish chip times
Awards:5K Awards:
  • Overall Male & Female 5K participants
  • First Master's Male & Female 5K participants
  • First Turkey Trot TEAMS- (all male, all female, mixed gender)
  • Age Group Medals first to third place finishers in each gender
Kids' Fun Run:
  • First 50 kids receive gift
Age Group Divisions:
  • 11 and under; 12-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49;
    50-54; 55-59; 60 & Over.
Entry Fees:Includes a LONG SLEEVED EVENT TECH SHIRT in requested size for all participants registered by Wednesday, Nov. 6th. Total shirts available: 650.
Online registration opens: August 1st; Closes: Thursday, November 21, 12 midnight
Last-minute pre-registration: Wednesday, November 27 @ 5 – 7 pm in the Guthrie Patterson Auditorium, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA.
  • 5K individual: $20
  • 5K Turkey Trot TEAM (between 3- 5 people): $18 per person
Race Day Registration opens: 8 AM; Closes 9:30 AM
  • 5K individual: $25
  • 5K Turkey Trot TEAM: $23 per person (checks/cash only)
KIDS' FUN RUN (10 & under, please): FREE
  • Kids, please bring a travel-size toiletry item (toothpaste, shaving cream, etc) to donate to the Sayre House of Hope.
