Gorges Ithaca Half Marathon

The Inaugural Gorges Ithaca Half Marathon (13.1 miles) will showcase some of the finest running that Ithaca has to offer. A loop course covering city streets, the waterfront, and surrounding parks. A killer post race party will feature local food, brew, and bands on the new Downtown Ithaca Commons.

The course is in the process of being permitted and finalized but will be mostly flat and very scenic. Maps and elevations will be available on March 1st. You can make a weekend out of it by staying at a downtown Ithaca hotel and enjoying the areas attractions including the wine trail, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, waterfalls, gorges and the waterfront. 

Notes for Participants 
Registration packet pick-up will be available Friday and Saturday at theFinger Lakes Running & Triathlon Company in Downtown Ithaca. 

Finishers will receive a fabulous event beer growler that can be filled with beer or soda at the post event party. 

Event t-shirts, goodies, and area coupons will be provided to all registered runners at packet pick-up.
A pasta dinner will be available on the evening of June 13th
Registration for the 1st Annual Gorges Ithaca Half Marathon will open on January 17.
16 and 12 week training programs will be available on the event website and group runs will be available for training in the Ithaca area.
