This is a 5k Run/Walk that supports our military and gives all proceeds to the Wounded Warriors Project. The Wounded Warriors Project aids our veterans with a variety of services and programs. The terrain of this course is mainly flat with only a few hills. It will wrap around the high-school baseball field, and elementary school. The cost is $20 and there will be shirts for the first 50 registered. Shirt sizes are NOT guaranteed. Pre-race registrations will be held that day from 7:30-8:45 a.m and then the race will be held at 9 a.m. There will also be several prizes awarded. This is hosted by Hosted by Tara Kelley and Taylor Arnold and I as our National Honor Society project. Please contact either of us for questions.

MPORTANT UPDATE: We know some of you want to literally "go the distance" and a 5k just won't cut it. So in addition to the 5k race being placed on May 30, 2015, we are scheduling a separate 10k race (6.2 miles) at the same time, same place (start/finish), and totally different course. THIS RACE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE RUNNING.
