Superhero 5k – Athens, PA
April 27 @ 10:00 am
National Child Abuse Prevention Month is a time to acknowledge the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to promote the social and emotional well being of children and families. During the month of April and throughout the year, communities are encouraged to share child abuse and neglect prevention awareness strategies and activities and promote prevention across the country.
This year The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center has decided to add some really exciting things to our annual 5k.
Please join us on April 27th for our Superhero 5k run for Child Abuse Prevention! This family friendly event attracts avid runners, casual walkers, children of all ages, supporters of The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center and Super Heroes of all sorts.

There will be a DJ, photo booth, face painting, and TONS of Superheroes! You don’t want to miss this! You are welcome to dress up as your favorite superhero because every child needs a hero but our children victims deserve a Superhero, however, costumes are optional. We look forward to see you and Joining Hands in the fight against child abuse.
