Autumn is the best season of the year as far as I'm concerned. The local trails are looking particularly beautiful so far in 2020, and its the kind of beauty that no amount of politics and pandemics can cover up. I captured this video at Two Rivers State Park / Waverly Glen Park earlier this week on a "rest day," that was more or less just an excuse to haul my new camera out of the house and enjoy the scenery a little more slowly than on a typical training day. If you haven't been up to "the glen" recently you may be surprised by some of the changes. The state seems to finally be making some strides as far as trail marking and maintenance go, as meanwhile in the town park you'll find new bathroom facilities, a rebuilt large pavilion, along with current ongoing work on the tennis courts and main entrance. If you do visit in the coming weeks be sure to throw on some orange, as limited archery and muzzleloding hunting is allowed in portions of the park (though in 15 years I've encountered very few hunters.)
